It’s London 1999. A family tragedy breaks Karla Vincent’s heart and forces her into a new job with a specialist police department called SO19.

Working for SO19 is all about speed, power, and adrenaline. There are fast cars, serious weaponry, unpredictable threats. It’s disciplined, aggressive, and highly addictive, a very long way from regular policing.

As one of a select few of highly trained firearms specialists, Karla becomes part of a tight team. Their job is to protect the people of London from those who would steal, kill and destroy.

They are the last resort, so when an ex-marine with a grudge finally lets loose, it comes to them to stop him.

Still new to the job, Karla must hold the line as one of a very small group of police officers making a last stand between this deranged gunman and catastrophe.
